Fees
One fee, charged once, always visible in the quote before you sign anything.

The desk fee
2% of the maker's proceeds, paid by the taker. The taker is whoever accepts an existing order: the buyer when they hit an ask, the seller when they fill a bid. Posting an order to the book costs nothing beyond gas.
| Who | Pays | Receives |
|---|---|---|
| Maker (posts the order) | Gas only | Their asking price in full |
| Taker (accepts the order) | Price + 2% + gas | The USDC they bought |
How a quote is built
For buying A Arc USDC from an ask priced at premium p:
proceeds = A × (1 + p) → goes to the maker
fee = proceeds × 2% → goes to the desk treasury
you pay = proceeds + fee
The order book shows every level as a single price per 1 Arc USDC with the fee already included, so what you compare is what you pay. Nothing is added at the last step.
Gas
You pay gas only on the chain where your own funds sit — one approval and one lock. The desk pays the gas for everything else, including the delivery on the other chain and returning expired liquidity to makers. On Arc the gas token is USDC itself; a full settlement costs the desk well under one cent.
What we never charge
- No listing fee, no cancellation fee, no withdrawal fee.
- No spread on top of the maker's price — the premium is the maker's, not ours.
- No fee on refunds. If a trade fails you get back exactly what you escrowed.
